Incorporated as M/s. Mahadev Vidyut Udyog Pvt. Ltd., was engaged in manufacture of components for lighting industry.
Discontinued production of components for lighting industry and started manufacturing of submersible winding wires, submersible flat cables and domestic wires under brand “SBEE”
Rechristened as SBEE Cables India Ltd. Expanded range of wires and cables by manufacturing of LT Panel wires, Power and Control Cables, Instrumentation and Signaling Cables, Braided cables, Aerial Bunched Cables etc etc.
Introduced HFFR (Halogen Free Fire Retardant)/ZHFR (Zero Halogen Fire retardant) single and multi-core wires for domestic as well as industrial application to support greener environment and human safety.
Launched FS Cables (Fire Survival) product certified for relevant Fire Survival Test from CPRI, Bangalore & ERDA, Vadodara.
Introduced SBEE CY (Copper Braided) and Steel Braided (SY) Special Cables for the machine tool industry.
Developed various special signal, instrumentation wires and cables communications to International Specifications like BS, IEC, BS EN, AIS, JIS, GHOST, DIN VDE.
Acquired 22 Acres of Land in Harohalli Industrial Area Phase 2 KIADB in the outskirts of Bangalore for expansion
Started Construction on Phase 1 project on the newly acquired land at Harohalli.
Expanded the existing product manufacturing capacity to 6 folds against 2013 capacity.
Installed machines for new products for the Defense and Railway applications.
Installed CCV machine for manufacturing HV cables from 3.3 kV to 33 kV.

Up 61/37/19/7 Stands for Aluminium and Copper High-Speed Conductor Stranding machines with PLC controls and Pneumatic Controlled tension for a better finish and proper conductor construction either be shaped or compacted or circular, with these machines the elongation of the conductor and the required shape is better so that customer gets the correct size and finish.
